Configuring the Encoder. There are several steps to this.
| Start here. |

Note The ‘top’ and ‘bottom’ labels in this window are reversed. |

Video: Deinterlace with high quality for all “video outs” from other machines as NTSC is 512 lines interlaced. Webcam’s and direct screen captures are not interlaced.
Some movies are interlaced and may need this enabled as well.
Cropping: If the capture output does not fill the screen, first attempt to adjust the output on the machine producing the output. Many video drivers allows “video out monitor” adjustments. If you don’t have any adjustments, or have adjusted to output as large as it will go and it still doesn’t fill the screen, cropping will allow you to trim pixels
until the picture fills the screen.
Resizing: When possible don’t. If you must, use high quality.
Audio: Always use 44,100 Hz. If you changed this AAC encoding will crash.
Choose MONO or STEREO as needed. Most often live streams will use MONO.
